Before there was a firm, there was the impulse to build.

 

Architecture was never simply a profession — it was a continuation of a childhood instinct: to assemble, to refine, to create objects of purpose.

 

Education became the instrument to sharpen that instinct. Graduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, along with exposure to the Harvard Graduate School of Design, introduced discipline, rigor, and critical thinking. Professional immersion in the United States and Europe expanded the horizon — revealing how architecture operates within complex global systems.

 

But knowledge alone is incomplete without context.

 

Returning to the Philippines was both personal and professional — a reconnection to Filipino roots and an opportunity to apply global experience within local realities. The transition required recalibration: rebuilding networks, understanding cultural frameworks, and redefining practice within a new environment.

 

From the attic of a townhouse, 3Arkitektura was born.

 

What began as a modest studio evolved through persistence, adaptability, and collaboration. A decade-long design-build partnership sharpened execution capabilities — reinforcing the principle that design is only as strong as its realization.

 

Over time, the practice matured beyond its initial structure.

 

D+ARC emerged as the next phase — an evolution shaped by experience, refinement, and ambition. It represents clarity of direction: a commitment to regenerative values, disciplined execution, and leadership within the built environment.
