The A Residence was the first project our studio completed in 2011, becoming the foundation of our design practice rooted in sustainability and contextual sensitivity. Designed for a young couple starting their family, the home sits in a gated community south of Metro Manila.

The concept features a floating teak-clad volume with a roof garden that buffers the tropical sun. A double-height concrete wall organizes the interior, separating public, private, and service spaces. Bedrooms and family areas occupy the upper level, while the lower level opens to flexible social spaces.

Twelve years later, the family expanded their home by acquiring the neighboring lot, allowing for a larger garden and outdoor areas that deepen the home’s connection to nature.

This high-end two-storey residential project was built on an approximately 620 sqm property, South Manila. The client’s "feng shui” design requirement and as well as progressive architecture design strategies were the primary driving force of this residence.

The house features six bedrooms, a basement floor for service and a swimming pool highlighting the outdoor environment through the boardwalk. The highlighted intricate window details provide natural light control and promote passive cooling stratification by natural ventilation and shading making it energy efficient and sustainable.

This home was designed around one big goal: to make the most out of a rare, generous buildable lot right in the middle of the busy Bonifacio Global City in Metro Manila. With over 900 square meters to work with, the plan includes four bedrooms, a basement with a 2-car garage and service area, plus a den that opens up to a small garden and a roof deck.

The heart of the house is a multi-level open space that brings together the living room, dining area, lounge, and an outdoor deck—creating an easy, connected flow for everyday living and entertaining.

Because the site footprint was relatively tight, the layout was carefully organized around the idea of “two hands clasped together,” keeping the spaces unified without feeling cramped. Natural light, ventilation, and sustainable design strategies guided every decision, making sure the home feels bright, breathable, and environmentally mindful.

Designed as the client’s retirement residence, this home sits on a 530 sqm sloped lot in Ayala Westgrove Heights, Cavite. The project envisions a sustainable, two-storey home designed for aging-in-place, work, and large gatherings. The design navigates the site's East-West slope by zoning the lower ground for a 4–6 car garage and staff amenities, connected to the main living level by terraced landscaping.

The upper ground features an open-plan living area capable of hosting 40 guests, service areas linked to the client's adjacent property, and a Master’s suite with integrated quarters for a future caregiver. The second level is dedicated to private workspaces—a studio for her and a library for him—both opening onto a scenic roof deck. Key priorities include energy efficiency, natural ventilation, and strict adherence to universal design principles for future accessibility and hospice care.

This architectural design is a striking example of Contemporary Tropical Modernism, balancing bold industrial lines with a deep respect for the natural landscape. The structure is defined by its cantilevered volumes and a "floating" almost flat roof with warm timber soffits that provide extensive shading. By utilizing a sophisticated palette of exposed concrete, black steel framing, and expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing, the home creates a seamless transparency between the minimalist interiors and the surrounding greenery.

The R-2 Residence is a single family of 3 children. The home is a 2-storey structure with basement level and a roof deck that is roughly about 710 square meters gross floor area.
The ground floor include the dining and living areas with a large main kitchen that will cater day to day family gatherings. There will also be a study area and a powder room.

The ramp will sit 2 cars and the basement garage, up to 3 cars. The subterranean level will contain the gym, laundry area, auxiliary kitchen, and the staff bedrooms.
The second and third floor will accommodate the private spaces mainly the masters' suite and then the rooms for the children. Each room will have its own bathroom and closet spaces.

This residence is a stunning example of modern tropical architecture, characterized by its sleek, horizontal lines and a sophisticated "inside-outside" feel. The design prioritizes a low profile that feels grounded and private, yet remarkably open. Its most striking feature is the expansive, low-pitched roof with deep overhangs; these wide eaves not only protect the home from sun and rain but also create a sense of sheltered elegance, with warm wood-toned soffits that glow against the darker exterior.

The material palette is a thoughtful mix of textures that feel both industrial and organic. Dark, charcoal wall panels provide a bold backdrop for the large glass windows, which allow the interior spaces to blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment. To balance the heavy stone and metal elements, the architecture uses vertical screening—seen in both the fence and the structural slats—to add rhythm, privacy, and a delicate play of light and shadow across the facade.

The architectural design of this residence centers on a U-shaped pavilion layout, a smart approach to modern tropical living. By wrapping the home around a private central courtyard, every room gains a direct connection to nature, plenty of sunlight, and refreshing natural airflow.

Nestled within the quiet elegance of La Residencia, this project is a masterclass in maximizing space and lifestyle. Set on a 195sqm interior lot, this 100sqm Exclusive Clubhouse is designed as a private escape for family, special guests, and a special group of riders. It balances the rugged needs of outdoor enthusiasts with the high-end comfort of a modern rest house.

The design philosophy focuses on "Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Living." Because the site is an inside lot, the architecture prioritizes privacy and internal views, using a perimeter garden to create a lush, secluded atmosphere away from the street.
